Fares and bus passes

  • Most single bus fares in England are capped at £3. The Government has said the cap will fall to £2 from 1 January 2027 and stay at that level until the end of 2027.
  • Older person’s and disabled person’s bus passes give free travel from 9.30am to 11pm Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and on bank holidays.
