Over the course of the next 3 years, a new and ambitious project is coming to the area. Dynamic Dunescapes is working across England and Wales to restore some of the most important sand dune systems for the benefit of wildlife, people and communities. At Haverigg, Dynamic Dunescapes will be removing invasive species, conserving pools for natterjack toads and helping our specialised wildlife to thrive. Dynamic Dunescapes Cumbria are seeking committed local volunteer rangers to help look after the dunes and lend a hand with practical conservation work over the coming years.

The talk will take place online and will take 40 minutes with time for questions and discussion at the end. Dynamic Dunescapes is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the EU LIFE Programme. Project partners are Natural England, Plantlife, National Trust, Natural Resources Wales, Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Cumbria Wildlife Trust.
