Minutes of Previous Meeting

The minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 2 September 2024 were approved and signed by the Chair.

Residents raised concerns regarding an increase in **unauthorized vehicle parking at Pinnel Hole** and the **ongoing planning application issues**. The Chair assured them that these matters were being monitored and addressed where possible.

The **consultation session held on 5 October 2024** was well attended, and feedback is being compiled.

Electricity Resilience

Cllr Savage provided an update confirming **ongoing engagement with Electricity Northwest (ENW)** to improve local infrastructure resilience.

Parish Projects

Active Transport

Cllr Calsy confirmed that additional funding applications had been submitted for **cycle lane development**.

Pinnel Hole

Cllr Pogrel reported that work on improvement plans continues, with further consultations planned.

Community Notice Boards

The **installation of new notice boards** has been completed.

The new **Parish Council website** is now live and operational.

Resolution: Councillors agreed to review content and provide feedback at the next meeting.

• A resident requested an update on the **removal of overgrown hedging** affecting a local footpath.
• A resident raised concerns regarding **dog fouling in public spaces** – signage improvements were suggested.

• Cllr Wright reported issues with the **condition of road surfaces leading to Thwaites**.
• Cllr Bates raised concerns about **lorry traffic through residential areas**.
